A Sea of TEAL
Our Board Vice Chair (and my sister) Kimberly Buckley and I traveled to Washington D.C. on July 12-14 to join the sea of teal at the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance annual convention. As a partner member, we were given a booth to sell Bling4Cancer and hand out our materials. We attended informative seminars and hugged so many teal warriors!
It was truly a weekend that will have a lasting impact on the face of ovarian cancer throughout the country. We will be collaborating with some of the organizations we met on new educational programs. We hope to attend again next year and take a few more teal warriors with us! Below are some pictures of friends we met. The woman in the teal dress with me is Calaneet Balas, the CEO of the Alliance.
